If you find it convenient to donate to the Community Loan Fund through regular payroll deductions, we are very thankful for your support. The Community Loan Fund is part of several workplace giving campaigns, including:
- SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) – During the fall SEFA Campaign, NYS employees can donate once or via regular payroll deductions. Our SEFA # is 5000067.
- CFC (Combined Federal Campaign) for federal employees. Our CFC code number is 98290.
- Community Works of New York State, Inc. (A federation of nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving our most vulnerable NYS citizens) – Albany County, Albany Public School District, Albany Municipal Housing Authority, CDTA, or the College of Saint Rose employees can donate to the Community Loan Fund through the fall Community Works Campaign, held simultaneously with United Way. To arrange a Community Works campaign at your workplace, call 482-4546.
- United Way or other campaigns – You must write in our name and address in the designation box.
When donating through one of these campaigns, please check the box requesting an acknowledgement. If you would prefer to donate to us directly, your contributions will not be reduced by administration fees. Contact Linda at Linda@mycommunityloanfund.org for more information or send your donation directly to the Community Loan Fund, 255 Orange Street, Albany, NY 12210.
Does Your Employer Match Your Donation?
Your employer may have a matching donation program that will maximize your contributions. (In the Capital Region, the GE Foundation and Bank of America are two employers that match their employees’ charitable gifts.) Check with your Human Resources department to see if your employer has a matching gifts program.
