Since 2019, in partnership with Home Leasing, the Community Loan Fund has actively been working on a new expansion project at 236 Clinton Avenue in Albany. This expansion project will allow our current Orange Street building to create more capacity for up-and-coming BIPOC and women entrepreneurs while also bringing affordable retail space to Clinton Avenue. The space will provide 4 visible storefronts, co-working space for 8, and 36 affordable housing units for local families. The expansion will also feature a dedicated training and technical assistance space, as well as a drop-in daycare for clients.

However, to move forward with this exciting expansion, we must raise approximately $1,000,000 in outright gifts and pledges by late 2023. This crucial capital campaign is needed due to unforeseen circumstances regarding increased material and labor costs associated with historic inflationary pressures and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
