Charitable Planning: Managing Your Required Minimum Distribution, January 15

Charitable Planning: Managing Your Required Minimum Distribution, January 15

Did you know retirees must begin withdrawing from their retirement accounts following the year they reach 70.5 years old? This withdrawal is called a required minimum distribution (RMD). At this workshop, you can learn how to leverage your IRA to make tax-deductible charitable contributions, even if you don’t itemize on your taxes anymore.  The strategy is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

The workshop will be led by Darren Leader, Director of Financial Planning and research at Simmons Capital Group.
