Miriam Dushane is a client-focused HR executive with nearly 30 years of progressive leadership experience across human resources, recruitment, and workforce solutions. Recognized for driving business results through innovative talent strategies, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to customer service and community impact.
In June 2025, she was appointed to Vice President of HR Consulting at Pioneer (Nasdaq: PBFS) to build and lead a new consulting division focused on delivering high-touch, strategic HR services to small and mid-sized businesses. The division provides customized solutions including employee handbooks, HR compliance, on-site HR leadership, and leave management—extending Pioneer’s commitment to service innovation and fee-based business growth.
Prior to Pioneer, she served as Managing Partner of Alaant Workforce Solutions, leading the firm to national prominence—earning multiple accolades including Forbes’ America’s Best Recruiting Firms and the Best of Staffing® Client Diamond Award for eight consecutive years. Oversaw business operations spanning P&L, marketing, compliance, HR, and client success, while building a high-performing internal team and placing thousands of professionals across the Capital Region.
She is a certified HR professional (PHR, SHRM-CP) and recognized community leader, honored as a Capital Region Chamber Woman of Excellence and Albany Business Review Woman Who Means Business. Actively engaged in nonprofit and educational leadership, serving on boards such as the Tech Valley High School Foundation and CanCode Communities.
