On Friday, April 21st, the Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region reached a milestone that many CDFI’s aspire to attain. We are proud to announce that we closed on our 1,000th loan!
From 1985 to now, the Community Loan Fund has distributed over 73 Million dollars in loans to neighboring small businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the Capital Region. In addition to our thousands of businesses who have received Training & Technical Assistance from us over the years!

Tonko, who has been an investor and supporter of the Community Loan Fund for over a decade recorded this congratulatory video to honor the organization and wish us luck as we now go for 2,000!
